2003 Ford Mustang Premium Mach 1
A heritage packed revival and callback to the original Mustang Mach 1 back in 1969, in 2003 Ford Motor Company decided to try out bringing back an old school nameplate for an updated edition. The original Mach 1 was featured with the 351 Windsor V8, and the top-of-the-line model carried the 428 Cobra Jet V8. In 2003, for this big revival, Ford decided to pack a smaller, but potent 4.6L V8 kicking out around 305 horsepower this model's factory optioned 5-speed manual transmission. The handling is superb with Front Independent MacPherson strut suspension, and rear four-bar link with coil springs. Front 13.0-inch Brembo brakes, and 12-inch vented discs help stop this Mustang in its tracks. This is a somewhat special model as well considering that only 869 Zinc Yellow editions were produced. This isn't a large displacement muscle car; this is a well-equipped, quick, and well handling revival of one of the great Mustang's. Bringing the nostalgia, with updated performance specs – this is certainly a classic in its own right.
