The third generation of America's tried and true sports car was introduced in 1968 to somewhat mixed reviews from the public. General Motors had been designing and developing the C3 corvettes concept even before the big block C2's were accessible to the public, so there was clear dedication to the success of this car. The mixed reviews turned favorable in time however, and today this is an example of what a corvette should be, untamed and unforgiving - America's tried and true sports car. This example is fitted with a replacement 350 CI V8 Goodwrench crate engine, casting #1006636. Hooked up to the engine is a Rochester Q-jet carburetor, and an 1968-1969 Chevelle intake manifold. Documents of repairs and service are included with the vehicle. This 1968 Corvette rides on Bilstein shock absorbers giving a smooth ride and tight control - especially when riding on recently installed Cooper GLS touring tires. Looking for a great Sunday cruiser? Well look no further than this '68 Vette offered for sale by Valley Classics.
