When one thinks of a Hummer, they usually think of an overly large, gas hogging, big American V8 SUV. Some, however, think the Hummer is synonymous with something else, the downfall of a brand with much history and attitude behind it due to the circumstances of the time. General Motors acquired the Hummer brand from AM in 1998, it was based off of the military Humvee and was meant for civilian use. GM produced 3 different models for different uses. The H2 was marketed towards the luxury SUV crowd, and it sold pretty well for something of its price and stature, but it was really a sign of the times in retrospect. This 2005 Hummer came with the bulletproof 6.0L Vortec V8, and equipped with a 4 speed automatic transmission and came in the 4X4 package. The frame and paint on this car are pristine considering that this H2 lived its life in Florida. The luxurious touches really show through considering this 2005 model has heated front and rear seats, a massive moonroof that stretches to the 3rd row, and a banging Bose sound system optioned on. The Millennium Yellow paint job compliments this beast well as it amplifies its stature and makes it truly stick out in the crowd. If your heart desires as well, take this behemoth off the road featuring a locking rear differential, 4 wheel drive, and massive tires. There is plenty of power to carry this vehicle with 325 horses and 365 lb-ft of torque being spit from the massive 6.0 liter V8. Why not put this luxurious beast to the test on the trails while riding in comfort and style. Why not take a trip back to the early 2000's, where these 3 ton family hauling beasts roamed the streets of America, before the imminent downfall of this legendary brand due to unforeseen financial circumstances within the American Automotive Industry. All good things must come to an end however, and be looked back on as a sign of what once was, possibly with a smile - or maybe with a longing for a return to when gas was cheaper.
