1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible L88 Tribute 427/460 HP
This 1969 Corvette Stingray has undergone a full body frame off restoration for the sake of returning this classic beast to its former glory – but not without some upgrades in good taste. This '69 Vette rocks a dealer installed 427 cubic inch V8 pushing out a whopping 460 horsepower. In the style of the famed and quite rare L88, with similar engine specs, and that massive hood. This is a tribute to a simpler time when gas-guzzling muscle cars ran the country. Fitted with a 4-speed manual transmission to help you get the most power and control out of the beastly big block. Another tasteful upgrade to this classic is the straight-piped side exhaust – a massive tone pushed from the block straight to your ears, just don't burn your feet climbing out. Handling in this car is also something to not joke about, with an upgraded performance suspension kit, and Bilstein shocks, throw it around corners with ease or get comfortable in straight-line speed – the choice is yours. This Vette is finished in a beautiful era correct Daytona Yellow paint job, which does a fantastic job of making a statement to any onlooker, and compliments the black interior well. The 14-inch red-wall tires and chrome rims are both era-correct to this well-equipped and tastefully upgraded classic. The car's interior is completely original and in very decent shape considering its age. The frame is in even better shape due to the frame-off restoration process, there is no sign of rust anywhere on the Vette. It is hard to believe that just 4 years before the 1973 oil crisis, there could be a car with such a mean tone and so much power coming out of a 7.0-liter V8, an era before cars were muzzled into conformist commuters. The last of the performance car era within America for years to come, and even then, gas guzzlers were a thing of the past.
